Would you have any info on the fluid capacities for this bike and motor? My buddy picked up a 64 ya6, but we can't seem to find any info on oil capacity. Figured you might know.

Hi Steven. Maybe I missed something. I noticed that you drained the oil tank. And you removed the old oil filter. But I did not see you pulling the engine sump plug. It's behind the side stand hinges on the engine casings. Then when you checked the oil with the dip-tick, you had the tank capacity at the "F" mark. All well and good, but there would still be old oil in the engine and transmission. When I pulled out the tank drain plug, the sump plug and replaced the filter, I was several notches down on the dip-stick when I checked the oil after the specified refill of 2,500cc. Now I am wondering if the spec is for the tank drain and filter change only. About 200-300 cc comes out of the sump. when you open it. BTW, I tried using full synthetic oil in my 1990 3VN 400, but I had terrible oil leaks. So I used Permatex gasket maker to seal the filter cover and the drain plug washers. No leaks so far. (And I went back to semi-synthetic - 10W-40.) Good luck with this project.

I've owned two HD Tri Glides. My first one was teal that I bought new and I put on 20,000 miles. I traded it in on a new 2021 red one and put on 18,000 miles. The red one broke down four times within the first year and I sold it. I lost $9,000 on it and glad to be rid of it. Both trikes rode like an old International dump truck. I will never again own a Harley. I prefer comfort and reliability. Back to the Japaese bikes for me.

Bit misleading title, that is setting idle tune only. To tune from scratch means setting chokes, main jets, emulsion tubes and pump jets.

I had two 280ZX. One auto & one manual. No comparision between the two. The 5 speed manual was a much better car to drive. The auto was held back because of only being 3 speed without overdrive. Maybe with a later multi speed box the auto would have been a better deal.

IMO The coupe version of the 280ZX was much better looking than the much more common 2+2
